Walking With God

"Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him" (Gen. 5:24).

Enoch walked with God. I walk with God. I've always prayed that God would 'take me away' like he did Enoch – that I would not have to die physically. Enoch was 'unswerving' in his obedience to God. God rewarded Enoch's faithfulness by taking him to heaven while he was still alive. Death did not have the final word in Enoch's life. (Daily Bread for today). I need to remember that I have prayed this prayer for years. AND that DEATH will not have the final word in my life. Keep things in perspective, Deb.
